Barbara A. Ginty - Barbara received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Finance from Scranton University in 2006. She worked for a major Wall Street firm as an equity derivatives broker. Barbara joined Independent Financial Services In December of 2010 after about 5 years with her previous firm. She just finished the C.F.P. program at N.Y.U. Business School. Barbara has her own web-site "Planancial.com" which she launched on 12/8/2011. This site specializes in Financial Planning for the Younger generation (21-35). Check it out and have your Kids and grandkids check it out.    

Fred Stewart  has joined us.  Fred has 38 years of  experience in the securities business specializing in Retirement Portfolio Management.  Fred is also a Professional Bridge player and has represented the United States internationally on numerous occasions.  He is also an avid runner and 2 years ago came in second in his age group in the N.Y. C. Marathon.        

Carlo Allerot  -  Retired IBM Manager, came to work for me in 1995. Carlo and I did numerous seminars from 1995-2000. We had over 2,000 people attend one of our 3 day seminars either at Ulster Community College or at their work place. Carlo also prepared over 1,000 financial plans for our clients. Carlo is back, we have new planning software and together we are ready to update old plans, or run new ones.

Kevin Ginty  Owner and founder of Independent Financial Services. Kevin is a Certified Financial Planner and a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, since 1989. He started his career on Wall Street in 1981. He relocated to Ulster County, to go to work for Merrill-Lynch. In 1992 he started his own firm to specialize  in personal financial planning for individuals and small businesses.
